Tribute to Yoo Ye Eun

Have you ever found something that is so great and amazing, that you just need to share it with everyone you know? Well, this...or shall I say, SHE is one of them.

Her name is Yoo Ye Eun. She is a 5 year old girl from South Korea. She was born blind and was abandoned by her birth parents. Ye Eun made headlines when she played the piano on a South Korean TV show called Star King and even earned the highest points ever in the history of the show. What makes her so remarkably amazing is:

1. At the age of 3, she started playing children's songs on an old piano. She even played a song after her mother sang it to her. Her adopted mother (Park Sung Jong) was extremely surprised and saw that she has unique and great talent.

2. She is blind since birth, meaning she has NEVER taken a single music lesson and NEVER seen a piano before! How could she even find the keys? YET, she is playing is like a master.

3. Another TRULY AMAZING gift is that she can play a song, after listening to it ONLY ONCE! She only listens to the singing or the melody of a song and she can PLAY IT!

I CRIED when I watched this miraculous little blind wonder (WARNING: PREPARE some tissues...or a box of them). This is extremely touching, especially when she sang the song towards the end.

She is so endearing, utterly adorable, talented beyond words and aspires to be a great pianist some day. She is definitely a modern day Mozart or Stevie Wonder in the making. God has given her an extraordinary and remarkable talent. I only hope and pray that He will open and secure a path for her to succeed in achieving her dream of becoming a great pianist!
